Hello, I am Virginie,

A qualified Health Coach and the name behind roots.mind+body.

I came to London for a couple of weeks to “improve my English” but I loved it so much that I decided to stay and have called it home for over 25 years now.

Before having children, I pursued a corporate career, initially in market research and then as an analyst in the financial services sector.

My interest in nutrition and the impact that it can have on our health really grew when I became a mum - I have two children, a 9-year-old girl and a boy who just officially became a teenager (yep!). Over the years this interest became a passion and, after a break as a full-time mum, I decided to develop and validate my knowledge in nutrition and went back to university.

However, with too many psychological tensions, physical imbalances and sources of stress, I burnt out. It was a scary time which made me realise that being healthy is not only about nutrition and exercise, but that mental health and well-being are also vital components… It is all about balance.

From that time onwards, alongside pursuing my passion and looking after my family, it became non-negotiable for me to work on my physical and mental well-being daily. I qualified as Health Coach so that I could share my knowledge and experience, helping individuals along in their personal health journeys according to their unique needs.

I am here to be your accountability partner and help you reclaim your health, optimise your diet, improve your well-being, manage your stress, and boost your confidence. Having solid foundations will give you the energy and resilience to heal, grow and flourish.

My holistic approach is based on four pillars: nutrition, movement, mental well-being, and mindset to create realistic and sustainable changes.

Welcome to my little corner of health, wellness and happiness!

A little bit more about me...

I love nature, running, yoga, pilates, salsa verde, dark (very dark!) chocolate, routines, simplicity, neuroscience and, after all these years spent in London, I have kept my French accent!
